In particular, the programs aim to promote shopping on Main Street, patronizing local merchants. The last thing we want to see is stores going out of business, which ultimately causes local real-estate values to drop and crime to increase.

Please help us in our initiatives by shopping Main Street and join our cause by becoming a member. If you are a local artist, It’s a great way of getting exposure for your creative expressions.

Your participation, at whatever level you choose, will go toward coordinating and administering the different initiatives relating to your neighborhood. You will be given a VAO membership card which will entitle you to the discounts offered by local VAO merchant members, and you will receive invitations to gallery events. The yearly membership is $25

The VAO looks to provide several forums for you to exhibit your art. To begin with, you can choose to show in any of our restaurant galleries. If you need help, you can avail yourself of VAO assistance in pricing your art or, for a fee create your gallery page on the VAO web site - our site is viewed by the visitors we invite from our web marketing effort. Of course you will be entitled to all the privileges other VAO individual members enjoy, including being listed on our membership page. Call us for more information. The yearly membership is $25 and if you want your own gallery we will set it up for you for an additional $9.95 per month

By supporting our cause to engender community participation, you will receive a VAO merchant plaque that can be placed anywhere in your establishment.  Customers showing a VAO membership card will receive your VAO discount on the purchase of items selected by you. Membership is $155.  Our merchant Plus program allows you to call or e-mail your weekly specials to us and we will send it out to our members in our VAO news letter cost $395

If you wish to cater an event, like a birthday, graduation, or a slumber party, our VAO catering menu will indicate the dishes the VAO gourmet (LC) highlighted as the best choices available at the eateries that are our restaurant members.
